Richmond River Catchment

This project is dedicated to documenting the environmental devastation caused by the floods of 2022. Our mission is to capture video and photographic imagery that will serve as a lasting record of the damage, ensuring that we learn from these events and never forget what transpired.

To accomplish this, our team of skilled drone pilots embarked on extensive journeys along the rivers and tributaries affected by the floods. Their efforts have resulted in a collection of compelling images that vividly depict the aftermath of the floods, enabling us to construct a comprehensive historical account of the events that unfolded.

By making this imagery accessible to everyone, we hope to foster a deeper understanding of the consequences of environmental disasters and facilitate a collective learning experience. Let us work together to preserve our natural world and safeguard our communities from future calamities.

It is hoped this visual documentation of the floods will educate, inform, and inspire change. Join us in our commitment to preserving the lessons learned from the floods of 2022, so that we may build a more resilient and sustainable future.

Funded by the NSW Department of Planning and Environment. Their support has been instrumental in ensuring that this resource is available for the benefit of all.
